169: Gonoyama and Hakuoho

In the July 2023 tournament, three men brand new to the top division are stepping in to test their mettle. We're chatting about two of them today - Gonoyama and Hakuoho.

One has deep ties to Goeido - remember that powerhouse ozeki? The other has experienced a lightening fast rise to the top division and is the center of a bit of a media frenzy. People have high hopes for these men, so who are they? Where did they come from? How did they get so good? What foods do they enjoy? And the big question... do they sing?
